When driving from Brisbane, turn off the highway at the Glasshouse Mountains Tourist drive. Continue along this road, past Australia Zoo, to Landsborough where you turn off to the left and cross over the railway line. This is the Landsborough-Maleny Road which continues straight ahead up the range to Maleny.
Hovard Road is a loop road at the top of the range joining the Landsborough-Maleny Road in two places. Top of the Hill is situated at the western end of Hovard Road. This means that, when driving up the range from Landsborough, continue past the first Hovard Road turnoff, and drive along the winding section with the artificial cliffs on the right until you come to the second Hovard Road turn on your right. You will also see a sign for Alf's Road at this turn. Stay on the bottom road, and you will see the Top of the Hill sign on your left approximately 70 metres in from the main road. Follow the signs to the office.
For those who don't know the area, a good landmark is the large wine barrel at Maleny Mountain Wines. When driving from Landsborough, if you reach the wine barrel on your left, you have gone too far. Turn around and Hovard Road will be the first turn on your left going back towards Landsborough.
NB: If using satellite navigation, enter Hovard Road, Bald Knob - not Maleny.

Hi John and Gwenda, just a quick note to pass on our thanks for the great weekend we had at the Top of the Hill. The surroundings were very serene, the accommodation, service and food was excellent and the company first class. Thank you for your hospitality and we will definitely be coming again to see you soon.
